I have seen that happening..you may want to finish peeling the rest of it off, then spray the bare metal with a nice black paint??? Mine is cracking but hasn't fallen off yet, this is what I plan to do.
It is weird how things like rubber trim stays supple and still works on our 10 year old cars, but some hard plastic stuff fails like it has been out in the sun for 20 years

Ok, at the bottom of the driver and passenger side windows theres a metal seal (to keep out water) that runs along the bottom, its a hard plastic paint and I noticed one day that it was cracking and falling off leaving the bare metal, just wonderin if any of you had the thing happening?? and what can I do??
